All sessions are confidential and information will be shared only with your written consent. There are a few situations, however, in which we are ethically and legally bound to make an exception. These are the following:

1. If I become aware of physical or sexual abuse of a child under 18, or of an older adult; or any disclosure of prior unreported violent crimes.

2. If I believe that you are a danger to yourself or to others;

3. If I believe that you are unable to take care of your basic needs;

4. If I am served with a court order for your records, or I am subpoenaed to testify;

Due to the nature of my practice, court reports, depositions and/or court appearances are not possible. If either were to become mandatory however, there will be a $200/hour charge.
